RCL FOODS entrusts this individual to ensure conformance to all relevant requirements relating to Food Safety Management Systems, Quality and Process Control Management, Feed Safety, and Pet Food and Customer Requirements.Minimum Requirements3 year National Diploma in Food Technology, Environmental Health, B.Sc Microbiology, or recognized equivalentA minimum of 5-7 years food processing (FMCG) experienceDuties & ResponsibilitiesInternal AuditsSupports National QA Compliance Manager with Internal compliance audit program.Conducts compliance audits at Food Division SiteReviews packaging and product compliance to consumer and legal standardsTrack, trend and report on non-complianceCompiles and maintains internal legal/compliance audit schedules.Arranges audits with relevant managers to ensure participation and clear communication.Communicates audit findings to management & all relevant stakeholders.Arrange follow up audits with relevant managers & all relevant stakeholders.Verifies audit findings are actioned and closed effectively.Compares internal legal compliance audit findings against external audit findings to identify gaps.Verifies audit findings are actioned and closed effectively.Compares internal audit findings against external audit findings to identify gaps.Maintains internal audit system data and integrity.Responsible for calibrating InterSite auditors.External:Understands the criteria required for external audits across Food DivisionParticipates in audits.Ensure audit findings are actioned and closed effectively!Food Safety SystemMaintain legislative, statutory documents and records control (document numbering, review and issuing at point of use) and ensure all food safety management documents are completed as required.Maintain and update legal food safety and quality registers.Maintain Claims forum registers, outputs and track actions.Assist on innovation projects to review artwork and packaging labelling.Participate in Project meetings.Project ManagementResponsible for Go to Market QFS planning and evaluation.Support in SHERQ Management Project execution, maintenance and support Site admin and super usersAssist with the implementation and maintenance of FSSC 22 000Communication and ReportingCompletes reports and distributes them to relevant managers and role players.Completes monthly reports on compliance issues and progress.Compile, conduct and prepare monthly Food Safety Meetings / minutes.TrainingIdentify training needs and assist with arranging training.Assist with systems and legal training.Assist with Directive Training materials and IT platforms.
