Our client, a Tier 1 UK Main Contractor is currently undertaking a later stage of a prestigious £50 million New Build scheme in East London. This development encompasses student accommodation, residential units, retail spaces, and workspaces, contributing to the vibrant urban landscape of the area.As a Senior Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the successful execution of Stage 4 of the Development. Reporting directly to the Site Project Director, known for their exceptional track record in delivering projects on time and within budget, you will oversee a team of Construction and Logistics Managers. This role offers a platform for career advancement with the potential to progress to a Project Director position in the future, providing exposure to high-performing teams and the company's processes and procedures.Project Management: Lead the coordination and execution of all aspects of the development project, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgetary constraints, and quality standards.Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of Construction and Logistics Managers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and internal teams, maintaining clear and effective communication channels throughout the project lifecycle.Risk Management: Identify and mitigate project risks, proactively addressing challenges to minimize disruptions and ensure project success.Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and quality standards, conducting regular inspections and assessments to uphold the highest level of quality in project deliverables.Ideal Candidate Extensive experience in a Senior Project Management role within a Tier 1 principal contractor environment.Demonstrated longevity and commitment to previous projects, with a minimum of 3-4 years' tenure on each.Positive and driven attitude with a strong sense of motivation and ambition.Exceptional organizational and communication skills, with the ability to effectively lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
