Key Output

To effectively perform and expedite all warehouse related tasks – binning, picking, packing, dispatching, and building of hoses.
Ensure the Parts warehouse meets all customer parts requirements (internal and external).
Ensure that all warehouse related items are completed to prevent any unnecessary specials which contribute negatively to operation costs.
Being able to operate handheld scanning device.
Understanding of all targets and deadlines related to the warehouse.
Ensure duties are carried out to ensure achievement of warehouse performance standards.
Comply to specifications of order type by customer within time and quality standards.
Ensure warehouse procedures are carried out safely within the framework of compliance to SOP's.
Accountable for all warehouse assistant duties relating to KPI's Assembly of Hydraulic hoses.
Safety management - comply with OSHA/SHEQ safety requirements; conduct risk analysis before performing any task.
Unloading of stock receivables and unpacking of stock receivables.
Receiving of stock receivables and binning of stock receivables.
New material allocations of stock receivables.
Bin changes to overflowing materials in current stock location.
Picking of outbound orders for internal and external customers.
Packing of outbound orders for internal and external customers.
Dispatching of outbound orders for internal and external customers.
Cycle counting of current stock; bin audit in preparation of cycle count; inbound and outbound coordination of trucks.
Internal and external credit returns.
Claim of short receivables; must be some admin block stock management.
Sales order stock management.
Contamination control; housekeeping; maintain 6S operating conditions; report management.
May have to solve customer related queries but at a low level.
Ability to carry out stock count activities.
Verify against HIS to validate correct specifications/requirements.
Assemble hose to Caterpillar specification; tag hose with correct information; seal and dispatch as required; sign off hose assembly in hose register.
Build hydraulic hoses per sample as and when required.

Qualification, Experience and Competencies

Matric/Grade 12.
1 year Warehouse, Parts, Experience of technical fundamentals.
Understanding of warehouse ERP system – SAP EWM.
Understanding and compliance to warehouse SOP's.
Some will be required to drive a forklift; training required.
Understanding warehouse processes.
Team player.
Work towards targets.
