Responsibilities
Maintain existing systems according to change requestsProduce appropriate software programsDebugging of ProgramsProvide test information to TestersReporting on progress to the Project Manager or Team LeadAssist with the implementation of changes into the Production environmentDocument changes implemented and programsMentoring and quality assurance of junior team members code
Requirements
Matric / Grade 12Tertiary Qualification - IT Degree / Diploma highly advantageousMinimum of 5 years experience within application developmentExperience in writing web services (SOAP/XML) and (REST/JSON) and web development (JavaScript, PHP, CSS, HTML)Skills: J2SE; JEE; JEE application servers; JEE application frameworks; IBM AIX/Unix; Database and SQL
