Good health and quality of life is what motivates us to provide healthcare solutions and support for those who need it most.Anova is looking for a Senior HR Manager, who will provide HR partnership and leadership to the allocated portfolio. The successful candidate will also assist with developing and implementing HR initiatives focused on achieving business objectives and improving the effectiveness of the HR department. He/she will lead an HR team at head office and provide human resources expertise in all areas of the HR function and HR projects.The position requires a professional who has strong leadership skills and strategic insight. They must be able to work independently and handle a broad range of HR issues in a fast-paced and changing environment.Key Duties and ResponsibilitiesProvide strategic HR direction to the leadership in the allocated portfolio.Partner with managers and provide comprehensive and holistic service on all the HR aspects.Ensure effective implementation of all HR processes.Manage the overall level of people risk in the portfolio and ensure compliance to HR policies and labour legislation.Build relationships and network with line managers including EXCO through effective communication.Facilitates all organisational employee wellness initiatives.Assist in the implementation of all HR related projects.Provide professional leadership and support to head office HR team.Minimum Qualifications, Experience and Skills Required:Bachelor's degree in at least one of the following disciplines: Human Resources, Labour Relations, Organizational Development, and Industrial Psychology.Minimum of 10 years' experience as HR Generalist.Minimum 5 years management experience.Demonstrated ability to creatively solve HR related problems.Solid project management experience and competence.Strong leadership skills.Sound experience in Employee Relations, Organisational Development, Employee Engagement.Ability to build strong working relationships across all levels of the organization.Experience in the Health sector and or NGO space will be an added advantage.Computer Literacy and proficiency in MS Office (advanced Ms Excel).Sound business acumen and a strategic thinker.Knowledge and experience working with BCEA, Employment Equity Act, Skills Development Act and Labour Law.Knowledge and experience of the section 197 process.In accordance with our Employment Equity goals and plan, preference will be given to suitable applicants from designated groups as defined in the Employment Equity Act 55 of 1998 and subsequent amendments thereto.
