Senior Draughtsman

Senior Draughtsman Area; PTA Salary; R30 000 - R50 000 depending on exp Candidate must have experience with Sheet metal Brief description of the vacancy: A sheet metal manufacturing company based in Pretoria is seeking a Senior Draughtsman to start immediately Responsibilities: - Reading of various drawings and ability to convert it into a Solidworks package - Schedule assignments and communicate details to all individual in the CAD department - Participate in all production meetings - Generate complex drawings in Solidworks according to specifications - Do follow up checks on completed drawings - Create Data Packages - Create cutting files - Understand the bending, laser, machining and welding procedures - Use of all measuring tools - Liaison with quality department - Identifying various components with regards to drawings Make adjustments on drawings as required from other departments Experience required: - Min 3 - 5 years experience required in manufacturing Experience in using measuring equipment like tape measure & vernier Qualifications required: - Matric with Technical Drawings as a subject Computer Skills required: - Competency in Microsoft applications including word, outlook & excel - Experience in Solidworks - Experience in AutoCAD - Experience in Sigmanest - Draughting qualification will be an advantage Find and follow us on all social media platforms search Scholtz Partners International www.sp-int.co.za
