Program and Position Overview LJI's anti-human trafficking model focuses on transit monitoring, identifying and assisting trafficking victims during transportation. We have intercepted over 30,000 individuals, with more than 1,100 arrests stemming from our efforts.
The Senior Director of Investigations and Security will report to the VP of Anti-Trafficking and will be based in Ballito, South Africa, with travel to various fields.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities Assist in the development and training on investigations policies, standards, and guidelines Train, equip, and empower national investigations and security staff Provide operational assistance to investigative staff, including tactical guidance on cases Assist in the development and training on security policies, standards, and guidelines Collaborate with the CEO and Director of Data Science on studies to improve core processes Work with the Searchlight Anti-Trafficking Data Base team to develop data analysis tools Qualifications Mature Christian faith and agreement with our Global Value to "Abide in Christ" Knowledge and understanding of how the Christian Gospel ministers to vulnerable populations A strong commitment to social justice and advocacy Minimum of a bachelor's degree in a related field Significant experience in law enforcement, investigations, and security Ability to work well in cross-cultural contexts Critical-thinking and problem-solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficiency with Google Suite, particularly Google Sheets Strong project management skills Application Process We invite applications continuously until the position is filled.
