What youll be doing:As the Senior Data Analyst, youll be on the front lines of internal audit and risk management operations.
Your mission is to stay ahead of the curve, keeping up to date with legislative, technological, and business changes.
With data as your weapon, youll provide critical support for service delivery through accurate, insightful analysis.Skills & Experience:Staying Ahead of the Game: Keep your ear to the ground, following new developments in data analytics and related software.
Your expertise will drive improvements in processes, methodologies, and tools.Master the Tools of the Trade: Ensure optimal utilization of corporate analytical software, like Arbutus, and stay on the lookout for new tools that can boost efficiency and effectiveness.Build Strong Relationships: You'll liaise with all levels of management, forging productive business relationships through meetings, collaborations, and individual contacts.Evidence Gathering: Compile airtight working papers, execute audit tests, and gather vital evidence to support your case.
Youll report regularly to management, ensuring theyre in the loop.Strategic Input: Youll play a pivotal role in shaping the internal audit plan, offering proactive insights and suggesting improvements based on your expertise with automated data analytics tools.Lead the Partnerships: Build and maintain relationships with software service providers, IT departments, and alternative providers that can support the ongoing data analytics function.Personal attributes:A confident individual with a friendly personality, drive, energy, and enthusiasm together with a strong personal commitment to the delivery of high standards in a timely, efficient, and friendly manner who works in alignment with the company policies and procedures.
