We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven sales representative to join our clients team.Role Summary:A passionate, motivated, and energetic team player who can identify and engage current and potential clients and articulate solutions that our products can provide.
Key Responsibilities:Prospect and identify new business opportunities within the tooling industryService existing customer baseAdministrate stock holding and paperwork in line with processesFull stock control including but not limited to customer stock maintenance and stock holding to ensure that products are available when needed to meet customer demands, maintain an orderly stockroom, categorise inventory effectively, and follow stock control processes.
organised systems contribute to improved inventory accuracy and operational efficiency.The carbide tooling industry may experience fluctuations in demand, you would need to adapt quickly and adjust inventory strategiesCold calling to expand on the existing customer baseDevelop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed targetsIdentify and prospect potential customers, cultivating strong relationships to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions;Grow sales volume within existing customer baseKeep all necessary paperwork and records of relevant daily sales activities up to dateDevise and work detailed plan which needs to be modified and improved to maximise ROIConduct product presentations.
Demonstrations and training sessionsWork closely with the sales team and other departmentsAttend monthly/quarterly performance reviews with management to determine progress regarding agreed KPI's as well as provide timely and accurate sales forecasts and reports to managementStay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to capitalise on new opportunitiesKeep up-to-date records of relevant daily sales activitiesAlways portray a professional image of the company Requirements: Experience working with manufacturing machines, including but not limited to CNC, milling, lathes, etcStrong understanding of carbide tooling products and applicationsExcellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environmentProven sales track record selling carbide tooling products Benefits:Good basic salary + commission Fuel card50% Medical aid up to the Essential Saver Plan5% Company contribution for the first 24 months, 7.5% Company contribution thereafter100% Company contribution towards the Group Life & Funeral Cover If you are not contacted within 14 working days, please consider your application unsuccessful.
