Saipa Trainee Accountant

Position entails a three-year SAIPA learnership accredited by FASSET.
Trainees will be provided with practical training and assigned to a mentor for the first year. Trainees will be exposed to preparing management accounts, annual financial statements, cash books, and bank reconciliations, calculation of VAT, payroll, EMP501 submissions, income tax, and e-filing submissions.
Software packages utilised by the firm include accounting packages Xero, Pastel, Caseware, SAGE VIP, Greatsoft Etax, and Draftworx.
Candidates must have completed an appropriate accounting or finance degree or diploma in accounting at a reputable recognised institution. Computer literate with working knowledge of Excel, Word, and Microsoft Office.
Candidates' duties include gaining exposure to the competencies required by the SAIPA training program over the period of the learnership.
