Safari Manager/Head Guide

Key Responsibilities:Lead and conduct guided safari experiences, providing informative and engaging commentary.Ensure the safety and comfort of guests during all excursions.Manage the training and development of guiding staff, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.Collaborate with other lodge departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.Stay updated on wildlife trends and conservation efforts, enhancing the lodges educational offerings.Requirements:Minimum 5 years of experience as a safari guide, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.Relevant qualifications, including FGASA NQF 4 certification (or equivalent) and first aid training.Strong knowledge of wildlife, ecology, and conservation practices.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for guest engagement.Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.Valid drivers license and 4x4 driving experience.
