DescriptionPlan and lead training sessions to a group of mixed rowers with diverse backgrounds and experience of the sport.Build confidence of returning members and keep retention rates up.Provide coaching expertise to improve the quality and standard of training.Offer strategic guidance, planning effective training programs and race strategies to optimize team performance.Foster a supportive and disciplined environment that encourages rowers to push their limits and work cohesively.Be passionate about the sport and building an inclusive and fun environment for rowers.Have an understanding of higher education sport.Focus on improving rowers' technique to prevent injury.Work with the club committee to achieve the club's aims and objectives for this year.Display good coaching conduct in line with Queen Mary Student's Union Code of Conduct.Applicants must hold a relevant coaching qualification as well as first aid and insurance documentation.
