Responsibilities:Pursuit of continuous improvement across the pricing discipline through simplification, standardization, elimination and automationAudit and compliance confirmation of pricing executionProvide margin and profitability assurance to sales teams regarding offers/tendersWork closely with procurement or other departments in determining costs and related mark-upsWorks closely with finance and sales in managing rebates and net customer marginsCollaborate with sales managers and area sales representatives to create pricing proposalsFollows the market feedback/market share information from customers and field force and proposes pricing actions accordinglyCollaborate towards a value driven product portfolio, balancing demand and supplyIdentify market gaps and opportunities for product development, creating the business proposal to drive such introductionsProduct management manage product life cycle across multiple partiesWork together with technical, manufacturing and finance to ensure alignment towards and delivery of business opportunitiesDevelop automation toolsConduct adhoc to weekly to monthly reporting on pricing execution and related margin maintenanceEnsure all pricing cut off dates are tracked carefully and executed expediently Requirements:Commerce degree or HonoursExperience with Robotic Process Automation or other automation toolsComputer knowledge (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project)Working experience with JDE/OracleOngoing analysis of the competitive environment and industry trendsBusiness case development for strategic campaignsDatabase analysis to identify new opportunities and solutionsExperience in marketing or product managementAbility to think both strategically and analytically to identify and assess new opportunities Due to the high volume of applications received, only suitable candidates who meet the criteria of this vacancy will be contacted.
