Reservationist

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Reservationist to join our team remotely.
The ideal candidate is a mature professional with a proven track record in reservations, preferably in the hospitality industry.
You will be responsible for managing guest reservations, handling customer inquiries, and ensuring a seamless booking experience.
Reservation Management:Handle incoming reservation requests via phone, email, or online booking platforms.Accurately enter and update bookings in the reservation system.Confirm reservations and send booking details to guests.Manage cancellations, modifications, and special requests.Customer Service:Provide excellent customer service by assisting clients with inquiries regarding availability, rates, and services.Offer tailored recommendations based on client needs and preferences.Address and resolve customer complaints or concerns promptly.Administrative Duties:Maintain accurate records of all reservations and guest information.Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reservation reports.Coordinate with other departments (housekeeping, front office, etc.)
to ensure seamless guest experiences.Communication:Liaise with third-party booking platforms and travel agencies.Respond promptly to emails and phone calls.Maintain strong relationships with returning guests and VIP clients.Qualifications & Experience:Minimum of 5 years' experience in a Reservationist role, preferably in the hospitality industry (e.g., hotels, lodges, guesthouses).Familiarity with online booking platforms and property management systems (e.g., Opera, Nightsbridge, Protel, or similar).Strong customer service and communication skills.Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.Stable internet connection and a dedicated workspace.Preferred Attributes:A mature, reliable individual who values attention to detail and accuracy.Experience with handling international guests and bookings.Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle last-minute changes.Benefits:Flexible working hours.Work from the comfort of your home.Opportunity to work with a dynamic and supportive team.
