Reporting Analyst

A leading energy business, that operates in various countries, is seeking a driven and skillful Reporting Analyst to join the Finance department for a 6 month contract. This role requires strong ERP system experience, advanced analytical skills, strong IFRS reporting knowledge, and high attention to detail. If you are available immediately and open to a 6 month contract please do apply.Responsibilities:Manage monthly, quarterly, annual financial consolidation process for international entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with IFRS/GAAP.Use ERP systems i.e. Hyperion Financial Management, SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP to extract, analyze and report on financial data.Analyse consolidated financial statements: Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, and P&L statements.Ensure reports meet internal and external deadlines.Manage internal and external audits, providing auditors with accurate data, reconciliations, and explanations of variances.Run detailed financial analysis, identifying trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement.Verify compliance with financial policies, regulations, and accounting standards; maintain internal controls.Manage intercompany transactions and reconciliations, ensuring balances reflect correctly across group entities.Review and refine consolidation and reporting processes.Liaise with finance teams in various countries to ensure accurate and timely consolidation.Support the finance team with budgets and forecasts.
