CORE PURPOSE OF JOB
To provide an effective and efficient administration service to the remuneration and benefits section in order to maintain the pay structure and payroll records of employees as well as to contribute to the timeous finalization of all benefits related claims and queries.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
Benefits related administration in line with legislation, conduct standards, policies and fund rules which highly regulates the management of retirement funds and risk benefits. End-to-end processing of approved and unapproved risk benefit claims from application to outcome stage in a timeous manner. Remuneration related administration including post structure maintenance, budgets, payroll and overtime processing and strong understanding of statutory requirements, deductions and payments. Providing general administrative support such as filing, gathering of information, preparing reports and supporting the office on related projects. Creating employee awareness on remuneration related matters and all benefits offered by the University. Liasing and building strong working relationship with internal and external service providers to ensure streamlined and effective claims management and query resolution. Manage the central mailboxes and provide first time resolution to queries within agreed turnaround times.

REQUIREMENTS
To be considered for appointment to this post, candidates should possess: Matric Qualification in Human Resources or Finance would be advantageous. 2-5 years experience in which appropriate competence has been gained. Experience in Retirement Fund or Insurance industry advantageous. Valid Code EB Drivers License advantageous.
