IntroductionSPAR North Rand is looking for a suitably qualified and experienced Regional Retail Operations Manager (D) – Build it to join our dynamic team.
PURPOSE: The Retail Operations Manager is responsible for growing DC and Retail Sales through providing a comprehensive business consulting service to our Build It Stores.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS: Ensuring that all Build It stores are maintained at a level of excellenceAssisting Build It stores to be profitableMeasuring business performance through the use of information technologyAnalysis of financial resultsAdvising on modern retail trends in hardware utilizing category managementPerforming store audits through structured store visits and the circulation of written reports to regional and national office where appropriatePreparing business plans for storesImproving image and standards of all storesMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Matric CertificateMCSE or similar tertiary IT qualification – mandatoryInterpersonal skillsStress tolerance and integrityRetail Management experience preferably at senior management level would be an advantageThe ability to develop an open, sincere and trusting relationship with our retailersUnderstanding of tax lawsHigh energy level and the ability to operate under pressureAbility to work within a team whilst able to work independentlyDriver's license a necessityMust be willing to travel extensivelySPAR North Rand is an equal opportunity employer.
