Key Responsibilities:Implement the offshore strategy set by the CROPrepare South African risk team cost reviews and forecastsLead regular updates for senior management on office progressCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including compliance, IT, finance, HR, and facilitiesOptimize systems and processes for efficiency and accuracy, working closely with onshore offices and IT teamsMonitor and manage local desk operationsCreate and manage a KPI reporting dashboardEnsure adherence to procedures, frameworks, and accurate execution of tasksProvide leadership and mentorship, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growthSupport resource and succession planning in coordination with HR and business headsManage team performance and structure optimization, including headcount projections and recruitment coordination with HRLead regular team meetings and organize team-building initiativesMaintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across regional officesProvide insights to senior management on office and team performance, along with strategic recommendations for local operationsQualifications & Experience:Relevant bachelor's degree15 years of experience in a similar leadership role, preferably within finance, banking, or risk managementCompetencies:Strong leadership with emotional intelligenceExcellent time and priority management skillsStrong communication abilities, both verbal and writtenDemonstrated judgment and problem-solving skillsProactive, highly motivated, and committedIndependent, flexible, and entrepreneurial mindsetStrong customer focus in a global, demanding environmentAnalytical skills with the ability to define problems and recommend improvementsProficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPointWillingness to travel to Europe once or twice a year
