Malander is seeking an experienced Recruitment Lead for a client based in Cape Town.
The ideal candidate would be required to have extensive experience in the renewables industry and be based in Cape Town.
Key responsibilities: Develop and implement recruitment strategies aligned with business needs; Lead and mentor the recruitment team ensuring hiring goals are met; Utilise various sourcing methods to identify potential candidates; Maintain a talent pipeline for current and future hiring needs; Create and post compelling job descriptions on appropriate platforms; Manage recruitment advertising campaigns to attract a diverse pool of candidates; Review applications and conduct initial interviews; Coordinate interviews with hiring managers and other stakeholders; Standardise and oversee the interview process training hiring managers on effective interviewing techniques; Collaborate with hiring managers to extend job offers and negotiate terms; Ensure alignment of job offers with company policies and budget; Oversee the onboarding process to ensure smooth integration of new hires; Work with HR and other departments to provide necessary training and resources for new employees; Track and analyse recruitment metrics such as timetofill costperhire and quality of hire; Prepare and present regular reports to senior management on recruitment performance and challenges; Ensure recruitment practices comply with relevant labor laws and regulations; Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve recruitment processes; Promote the company as an employer of choice at job fairs career events and networking opportunities; Manage relationships with external recruitment agencies and vendors; Negotiate contracts with recruitment agencies and monitor their performance; Enhance the company's visibility and employer branding.
Requirements: Proven experience in the renewables industry; Demonstrated ability to build and maintain candidate pipelines; Experience in managing and leading a recruitment team; Strong understanding of various sourcing techniques and recruitment strategies; Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; Ability to work in a fastpaced and dynamic environment; High level of organisational and time management skills.
