Key areas of responsibility in this position include:Reception dutiesPetty cash recons and consolidationsAll local creditor recons and consolidationsAll non goods in trade purchases and GRVsSheq admin workRecons of first auto petrol slipsPOD retrieval and recons on key sales filingOther general office / branch dutiesProjecting a positive company imageQualifications Required:Min std 10 or equivalent with accountancy. Min 2 years experience in general office administration. Min 2 years experience as a telephone receptionist.Specific knowledge Required:General knowledge of office administrationGeneral knowledge of wage administration and returnsAbility to acquire knowledge and experience leading to an in-depth understanding of the option 3 systemAbility to acquire basic knowledge of products, services, and technical termsAbility to acquire knowledge of company structure, departments/branches, and peopleKnowledge of switchboard and fax machine operationSpecific job skills Required:Computer literacy, proficiency in MS Office and ExcelWell-developed arithmetic skills – ability to compile reportsWell-developed communication skills in English and AfrikaansAbility to use discretion and judgmentWell-developed interpersonal skills (including tact)Excellent orientation skills (including customer orientation)Good short-term memoryBehavioural attributes:Friendly, polite, and helpful with a good self-imageWell organized, efficient, dependable, and self-motivatedAbility to work accurately
