We offer excellent quality combined with a broad manufacturing depth.ResponsibilitiesObey any legal and reasonable instructions.Planning and control over supply chain regarding material.Ensure sufficient material flow to production.Report all material problems immediately to your Logistics Manager.Ensure that urgent or late material will be supplied to the production lines through the correct channels.Maintain old FIFO dates in the warehouse regarding slow runners and expiry dates.Responsible for Stock reports, freight reports, Mocca lists, Obsolescence reports, Oversupply reports, Under supply reports, Stock analysis, and Negative stocks.Maintain up-to-date information to production on current out-of-stock situations.Ensure material supply to Projects.Maintain the MRP by comparing this to the call-offs received from the customer.Order runs to all relevant suppliers as per given date.Ensure that suppliers receive these orders at the correct time.Any general duties/tasks as may be assigned by management.Desired Experience & QualificationsWe are ideally seeking candidates with expertise and qualifications in the following areas:Minimum of 3 years' relevant experience in logistics and/or material planning function.Knowledge of QMS/UMS standards.Supplier Raw Material knowledge & experience.Stores and Warehouse experience and understanding.Able to handle pressure.Strong interpersonal skills to handle all levels of operations.Self-motivated, goal-oriented and ability to delegate tasks when needed.MUST be fully computer literate! – not negotiable!Team player with the ability to work with, motivate, and train other team members.Must be able to work shifts and overtime when needed.Package & RemunerationMonthly salary ranging from R25,000 to R28,000.
