Qualifications / Requirements:
• Diploma in Manufacturing, Quality or Mechanical
• IATF 16949 Lead Auditor certification
• Six Sigma Green/Black belt certification (highly advantageous)
• Internal Quality Auditor Training (ISO 9001, IATF 16949)
• In-depth understanding of IATF 16949, ISO 9001 and other relevant quality management standards
• Extensive expertise in Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) documentation and requirements
• Proficiency in Statistical Process Control (SPC), Measurement System Analysis (MSA), and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA)
• Skilled in interpreting engineering drawings, specifications and control plans
• Knowledgeable in root cause analysis techniques and corrective/preventive action methodologies
• Minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in a quality assurance or quality control role within the automotive industry
• Proven track record of leading quality teams and implementing robust quality control systems
• Expertise in conducting process audits, quality system audits and supplier audits
• Hands-on experience in managing the PPAP process for new product launches
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making and critical thinking abilities
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, production and other stakeholders
• Proficient in data analysis, report writing and presentation skills
