Youll need matric and a comprehensive understanding of FSSC 22000 as well as ISO17025 and the SHEQ implications thereof. A relevant tertiary qualification will be a distinct advantage. Focus on quality control and continuous improvement measures throughout the company. Implement and enhance quality improvement strategies and apply your excellent problem solving skills to solve issues affecting quality and waste. You will work hand in hand with quality and SHEQ departments, ensuring that all quality and Health and Safety SOPs are followed. Youll supervise quality control and production staff, providing relevant training, and corrective measures to ensure standards are met. Conducting regular equipment calibration and testing, as well as co-ordinating and conducting 5s audits will also form part of your portfolio.
