Quality Assurance Supervisor

CORE PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
Ensure that all the quality control functions of the Quality Assurance department are maintained.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:

Ensure compliance to procedures and customer requirements
Implement and measure quality control checks ensuring checklists are completed correctly and filed
Provide accurate reports to management
Ensure equipment is regularly calibrated
Close off customer queries within agreed timelines
Ensure documentation is kept up to date
AVT Camera inspection Champion
Coordinating trials
Adherence to housekeeping standards, SHE & OSH act requirements with a "ZERO INJURY" culture compliance

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE:

Relevant tertiary qualification with at least 3 – 5 years' experience in a similar role in a printing environment
Supervisory experience will be highly beneficial
Extensive understanding of packaging raw materials and processes
Superior colour vision is required
Advanced computer skills
