How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?Air Liquide is looking for three Quality Advanced Process Control Engineers (Q-APC) to join our dynamic team to drive advanced process control solutions and optimize industrial performance. You will lead the deployment of Quality Advanced Process Control (Q-APC) methodologies, support technical troubleshooting, and coach teams to ensure operational excellence. This role combines engineering expertise, data analytics, and hands-on collaboration with diverse teams globally.
Your mission is to design and implement advanced process control solutions, ensuring efficiency and reliability in production systems. Your main responsibilities will be to:
Lead the deployment of Q-APC methodologies, including assessments, action plans, and technical troubleshooting for performance optimization.Develop and execute Q-APC roadmaps, track efficiency gains, and establish KPIs for operational effectiveness.Provide training, coaching, and documentation to support Advanced Process Control teams and ensure smooth transitions to advanced control systems.Collaborate with stakeholders globally, aligning on deployment plans, value creation, and compliance with corporate standards.Are you a MATCH?Minimum requirements: You hold a degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering (MSc preferred).Fluency in English is mandatory; additional languages are a plus.You have proven experience in process control systems.Technical Skills: You are proficient in at least one DCS system and control loop optimization.You have strong knowledge of advanced control techniques and process instrumentation.You have practical experience in computer networking and communication protocols (e.g., OPC, DDE).Good to have: Knowledge of cryogenic air separation or distillation processes is a plus.Experience with data analytics tools is advantageous.This role may require up to 35% travel.
