Our client is looking to recruit a QC Inspector on a contract basis in Cumbria.QC InspectorContract until end of April 2025Inside IR35Cumbria – OnsiteBPSSJob Description/Role:Promote a Nuclear and Personal Safety CultureEnsure the quality standards of the joint venture and the client are consistently met and compliant with the specificationEncourage continuous improvements across the projectPromotion and implementation of the Project Quality Management System and Joint venture processInteract with project construction and suppliers in accordance with ITP's to ensure correct fabrication & installationConversant with nuclear fabrication specificationsFluent with material certification reviewParticipate with audit activities both at supplier works and on-siteTimely, effective and concise reportingPromote a disciplined approach to supplier deliverable approval and concurrent review of lifetime quality recordsEssential Experience & Qualifications:Sellafield/nuclear experience working in a QA function or QC function with development into QA via lead audit and CQI membership.Oversight of subcontractors, compilation and review of lifetime records. Understanding of ISO 9001 quality management systems and Sellafield CQRM.CSWIP qualified Welding Inspector 3.1 or 3.2PCN II qualified in LPI/MPI/RI/U/TPainting Inspector, Qualified, Iccor level 2 or equivalentNEBOSH/IOSH/CCNSG Safety Passport trainingUnderstanding and familiarity of working within a team culture and JV environmentMaintenance of package status & progress reporting, raising issues and liaising with the project and client QA/QC team.Company informationAt First Recruitment Group we understand just how important it is to secure the right people.
