Our client in the Mining industry is seeking a dedicated and experienced Projects Supervisor to join their team.
In this role, you will lead and manage a variety of projects across different phases, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in project management, fleet management and a proven ability to lead teams effectively.Responsibilities:Lead and manage projects across various phases, ensuring completion within the set time, scope, and budget.Develop and maintain detailed project plans, track progress, and manage resources effectively.Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project execution and success.Maintain clear communication with clients and stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status.Identify and resolve project risks and issues in a timely manner.Prepare and present project reports, including budgets, timelines, and deliverables.Ensure optimal and cost-effective utilization of vehicles, plant, and equipment.Ensure all vehicle transport activities comply with Company Standards, SOPs, OHS, SABS, the Road Transport Act, and Road Traffic Act and Regulations.Oversee the implementation of Project & Fleet Management SOPs and strategy.Manage the vehicle fleet system, inter-dependencies, and risk mitigation strategies.Monitor and manage the fleet management budget and expenditures.Schedule and oversee fleet availability, ensuring timely repairs and maintenance.Lead, manage, and train the human capital in the department to enhance performance.Qualifications:Degree/Diploma: National Diploma in Fleet and/or Project ManagementKey Skills Required:Strategic thinking and strong analytical abilities.Ability to plan, organize, and manage multiple projects.Strong supervisory, administrative, financial, and organizational skills.Excellent communication skills in English, Sesotho, and Afrikaans.Financial and budget management experience.Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.Non-Negotiable Skills:Proven experience in Project Supervision/Management.Experience with or understanding of Yellow Fleet.Strong administration and leadership skills.Working Hours: Monday - Friday: 08:00 - 17:00Saturday: 08:00 -12:00 Salary Range:Minimum Salary: R180 000 per annumMaximum Salary: R360 000 per annumIMPORTANT:Applications close 13 December 2024 Only applications submitted via the Ditto Jobs platform will be consideredOnly candidates who meet all our client's minimum requirements will be contacted
