Project Manager
Job Grade: P7

Job Purpose:
To manage the total execution of ICT projects to ensure that projects meet their objectives, that commissioned deliverables are complete, produced to schedule, to budget and meet the quality and risk management specifications, as specified by the customer.
Required Minimum Education/Training:
Degree/ Diploma in Project Management (with a specialization in either Software Development or Infrastructure Management or Security or any ICT related domain)
Demonstrated understanding and implementation of PMBOK and Agile Project Management Frameworks
Demonstrated understanding and of Project Management principles, tools, techniques and knowledge
Required Minimum Experience:
5 – 7 years of experience in project management (3 years leading ICT project implementation teams)
Key performance areas:
To execute complete projects
To make input into operating policies, procedures and guidelines
To report on performance and to identify and escalate performance constraints
Applicants may, as a step in the recruitment process, be subjected to competency assessment. In addition, the successful candidate must be prepared to undergo a process of security clearance prior to appointment.
Qualifications and SA citizenship checks will be conducted on the successful candidate. It is the applicant's responsibility to have foreign qualifications evaluated by the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA).
It will be expected of candidates to be available for selection interviews on a date, time and place as determined by CIPC.
