Project Manager (Construction)

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a thorough understanding of construction processes, and the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, contractors, clients, and stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: Project Planning & Coordination: Lead the planning, scheduling, and execution of construction projects, ensuring all activities align with the projects scope, budget, and timeline. Develop detailed project plans, work schedules, and budgets, and allocate resources effectively. Collaborate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors to establish project goals and milestones Budget & Cost Management: Develop and manage project budgets, track expenditures, and implement cost control measures to keep projects within financial guidelines. Identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising quality or safety. Review and approve invoices and change orders, ensuring they are accurate and in line with project specifications Team Leadership & Communication: Manage and lead project teams, providing direction, motivation, and support. Foster positive working relationships with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders. Serve as the primary point of contact for project-related communications, ensuring transparency and clarity across all levels. Conduct regular project meetings to review progress, identify issues, and resolve problems Project Documentation: Maintain accurate and organized project documentation, including contracts, change orders, permits, safety records, and inspection reports. Prepare and submit regular project reports to stakeholders, detailing progress, challenges, and financial status Quality Assurance & Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, regulatory, and environmental standards throughout the project lifecycle. Oversee quality control processes, conducting inspections and assessments to ensure work meets or exceeds specifications. Address any non-compliance issues and ensure corrective actions are taken Qualifications/Requirements: Bachelors degree in project management or a related field (Advantageous) Experience working in sustainable building design, Construction, Real-estate or Architecture.
