We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Solar Project Engineer with experience in Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) to join our growing team.
The ideal candidate will play a key role in the design, development, and implementation of solar projects, with a focus on integrating BESS technology to optimize performance and efficiency.Responsibilities:Lead the engineering design and development of solar projects integrated with Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), ensuring compliance with industry standards and project requirements.Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to determine optimal locations and configurations for solar installations with BESS integration.Collaborate with cross-functional teams including project managers, electrical engineers, and construction professionals to deliver projects on time and within budget.Develop detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation for solar and BESS systems.Perform performance modeling, simulation, and analysis to optimize system performance and energy storage capabilities.Provide technical expertise and support throughout the project lifecycle, from initial concept to commissioning and operations.Stay updated on the latest advancements and best practices in solar and energy storage technologies, and incorporate innovative solutions into project designs.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.Minimum of 3 years of experience in solar project engineering, with a focus on BESS integration and ground mount PV.Proficiency in engineering design software such as AutoCAD, PVsyst, and energy storage modeling tools.Strong understanding of electrical systems, power electronics, and energy storage technologies.Experience with permitting, regulatory compliance, and interconnection processes for solar and BESS projects.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.PMP or PE certification (preferred but not required).
