They are looking for a Project and Engineering planner to effectively define and maintain planning information to guide organization to deliver projects on time and on time.
Job Description Maintain consolidated Project Master Schedule of all current projects.Ensure Clear links between project Schedules, Design Schedule and Production SchedulesImplementing Priority Change Knock Ons through Design and Production Schedules to define resultant project knocks.Reporting on resultant project Knock Ons for decision makingProduce Monthly reports on Personnel loadings.Host Project Portfolio Planning meetings.Procure On Time Delivery data for KPIs.Convert Design DWBSs to SchedulesProcess / Import DWBS into ERP system per project in conjunction with project manager and engineer.Ensure Design Schedule is linked to Project Schedule Deliverable work packages.Capture Design Updates in weekly design meets.Define Schedule Knock on reports for changes to planning and priorities.Define Reports on Design on time delivery and Loadings.Assist to balance/smooth resource loadings and allocate work in conjunction with engineering managers (Mech & Elec)Report on Actual vs planned hrs of " In Time" KPIsCommunicate weekly Design Schedule updates to PMs.Development of project progress metrics and control technicsReport to Exec on site overall schedule and resource loading.Planning and prioritizing operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay.Process weekly timesheets against preloaded activity budgeted hours (DWBS already loaded in D365) and communicate remaining hours per project.Produce weekly engineering resource capacity overview and forecast resource view reports and submit / present for review.Knowledge, Skills & Experience 6 years' experience in proven manufacturing experience in a similar position.Experience in a multi-project planning environment.Advanced knowledge working on MS Project Software and exposure to Primavera or similar.Competency in the full MS Office packageExperience in Waterfall and Agile planning environments.Competency in Project Management Software packages and experienced in using ERP or similar company management software.Must possess a demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic team environment, under pressure, manage multiple tasks, and be goal oriented.Strong leadership and communication skills to maintain relationships with junior staff right through to senior management team, and the client.Experience of contributing to and leading team meetings.Strong tactical individual with a proven track record in project managementAnalytical thinker with effective decision-making skillsThe ability maintain and improve processes.Be able to perform in a constantly changing environment.Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills in EnglishAble to multitask and be meticulous with exceptional attention to detail.Work overtime as requiredMarket related remuneration on offer Due to current workload if you have not had a response within 2 weeks, please consider your application unsuccessful.
