Professional Nurse-Scrub Nurse

KEY PERFORMANCE AREASMust be able to practice within your scope of practice as a Registered Nurse.Ability to understand and follow policies and procedures and protocols.Must be competent with the Hospital's Policies and Regulations.Ability to supervise staff in theatre.Must have experience in handling drugs and scheduling is a legal requirement.Equipment maintenance and motivations.Ability to teach staff in the unit.To ensure that Theatre is always running at the highest standards.Comply with SANC and stakeholder legislation.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTSMust be registered with SANC as a Registered Nurse with valid APC.Good interpersonal skills with doctors, patients, and colleagues are essential.Preferably have two or more years of experience as a Scrub Sister.Preferably be theatre trained or qualified.Must be prepared to work additional hours.Must be computer literate – MS Word & Excel.Job Type: Full-timeApplication Deadline: 2024/09/30
