Hire Resolve's client is currently seeking a skilled Production Superintendent to join their mining company based in Mpumalanga.
The Production Superintendent will play a pivotal role in overseeing the operational aspects of the production department, ensuring that production targets are met while maintaining safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities: Developing and overseeing resource plans for assigned areas, setting and communicating production goals on a weekly and monthly basis, and providing technical support to Supervisors to ensure safe achievement of these targets.
Overseeing the allocation, use, and capability of resources to enhance productivity and meet objectives.
Assessing Supervisors' performance and offering coaching and guidance by promoting best practices and high standards.
Ensuring compliance with legislation, company policies, procedures, standards, and operating guidelines within the areas of responsibility.
Collaborating with key stakeholders to address and resolve operational challenges as needed within the assigned areas.
Requirements Grade 12 Degree/Diploma in Mining Engineering Blasting Certificate for Surface Mines 5 years' experience in coal mining.
Strong knowledge of production processes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
