Production Planner

The Production Planner will be responsible for planning and coordinating the production of energy products within a manufacturing facility in Rustenburg. The ideal candidate will have experience in production planning, supply chain management, and energy industry knowledge.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop production schedules and production plans for energy products based on customer demand, inventory levels, and production capacity.Coordinate with production teams to ensure timely and efficient production of energy products.Monitor production progress and make adjustments to schedules as needed to meet production targets.Work closely with procurement and supply chain teams to ensure availability of raw materials and optimize inventory levels.Analyze production data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions for increased efficiency.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement continuous improvement initiatives.Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations in production processes.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field.Proven experience in production planning, preferably within the energy industry.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in production planning software and Microsoft Office Suite.Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations in manufacturing facilities.Salary: negotiable.Our client is offering a highly competitive salary for this role based on experience.Apply for this role today, contact Shannon Thomson and Jamie-lee McCallum at RPO Recruitment or on LinkedIn.
