Hire Resolve's client, a prominent player in the Foam Manufacturing industry, is looking for a knowledgeable and results-driven Production Manager to join their team in Cape Town.
This role is crucial for ensuring streamlined production processes, maintaining high quality standards, and meeting customer demands effectively.
Responsibilities: Oversee daily production operations and manage a team of production staff.
Develop and implement production schedules to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations to foster a safe working environment.
Monitor production processes and make necessary adjustments to meet quality and efficiency targets.
Collaborate with the quality assurance team to maintain product quality and resolve any quality-related issues.
Implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production processes.
Manage inventory levels and coordinate with procurement for the timely supply of materials.
Prepare and analyze production reports to identify trends and make informed decisions.
Train, mentor, and motivate production staff to achieve production goals.
Requirements Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing industry, in chemical/foam manufacturing.
Proven experience in production planning, scheduling, and management.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Knowledge of safety regulations and quality standards.
Proficient in MS Office and production management software.
