Mission
Epiroc is leading the charge to electrify the underground hard rock mining industry. With solutions such as battery electrical vehicles, chargers and other infrastructure products, we are looking for a driven individual keen on expanding their knowledge of BEV's in the mining industry to support our battery specialist as a maintenance assistant.
Core responsibilities Support Battery specialist with regular maintenance and cleaning of battery packs and chargers as per the OEM recommended maintenance tablesPerform regular audits on battery packs and provide written reports and recommendations on repair works to be carried out on batteries and chargersAssist with troubleshooting of batteries and chargersMain Duties: Perform regular maintenanceSupport of Battery specialistAdhere to all safety protocolsImprove Battery Pack and Charger availability through preventative maintenance actions on site.Competences, skills and experience Ability to read and interpret technical instructionsStrong communication skills and the ability to convey technical informationStrong Technical knowledge of electrical distribution systemsThis position will require the candidate to work both in a workshop as well as travel to site, to maximize utilization and serve a large customer base.
