Product Coordinator

Reference: 9724 SJ Consultant: SoneJohnson Job Description:Responsibilities include:
Provide a 4 week rolling plan to freight forwarders for vessel and shipment planning.Set up pack plan master with commercial team in order to create a demand plan for suppliers.Allocate stock according to fruit traders' instruction and provide shipping instruction to all relevant parties.Expedite cargo delivery to customer.Provide input to the weekly shipping plan to ensure efficient delivery of cargo.Monitor and ensure least cost distribution strategy is always followed.Monitor and troubleshoot cargo delivery to customers' point of delivery.Monitor stock levels and ensure minimum dwell time in port.Provide one-off documentation instruction to freight forwarding company and answer queries.Monitor cargo ETA's and provide timeous telex releases.Effective communication with product suppliers.Any other relevant function as required from time to time, in a product coordinator role.Qualifications:Grade 12 with relevant tertiary education.Minimum of 2 years experience within fruit export industry preferred, in a product coordinator role.Business Central and Produce Linc experience beneficial.How to Apply:Email your comprehensive CV to ******.If you are already registered, please forward your CV and the relevant reference number to the consultant with whom you are currently registered in order to avoid duplicity on our system.We reserve the right to only conduct interviews with candidates of choice.Applicants who have not received feedback within 30 days from the closing date must please accept their application as unsuccessful.
