The Procurement Administrator will be responsible for managing procurement processes, maintaining supplier relationships, and ensuring the timely availability of materials and components needed for manufacturing operations. The role requires a proactive individual with strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Supplier Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions, and manage supplier performance. Procurement Process: Execute purchase orders, track orders, and coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery and alignment with production schedules. Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels and manage replenishment cycles to prevent shortages while optimizing stock turnover rates. Documentation and Compliance: Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, ensure compliance with company policies, and assist in internal audits. Reporting: Prepare regular reports on procurement activities, cost savings, and supplier performance for management review. Requirements Qualification in Supply Chain Management , Procurement , Business Administration , or a related field. Minimum 3 years in a procurement or buying role, ideally within the mining, engineering, or manufacturing sectors. Proficiency in procurement software and MS Office. Strong negotiation skills and the ability to manage supplier relationships effectively. Analytical mindset with attention to detail and excellent organisational skills. Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
