The main duties of the role will be as follows:Assist the team to explore, identify, and define markets, clients, and opportunities in the relevant industry sectors.Establish relevance of enquiry to company and our ability to comply to tender and contractual requirements.Pose technical and commercial queries to client for enquiry clarification purposes.Submit and follow-up on tender and proposal opportunities.Attend bid clarification sessions with clients.Conduct on-site assessments with the aim of selecting appropriate water and/or wastewater solutionsPrepare reports detailing the findings and recommendations of the above assessmentReview literatureSelect technology based on site specific conditions and requirementsConsult with clients regarding appropriate treatment optionsDesign, cost and schedule preferred treatment plantTechnical supervision of treatment plant installation and commissioningTechnical supervision of operational treatment plantsResearch & Development and pilot trials of water and wastewater processesProcess support and troubleshoot during commissioning, process testing and plant operationProduce project spec sheets on project completionDevelop technical marketing materialHAZOPPump and mixer sizing and specification Depending on the experience of the incumbent, the above duties will initially be under guidance. However, within a relatively short period of time the candidate will be required to be sufficiently confident to progress with limited management control.
