Plc And Maintenance Specialist - Balfour

Job Title: PLC and Maintenance Specialist
The PLC and Maintenance Specialist for our large Manufacturing client will be responsible for managing, programming, and maintaining the PLC and SCADA systems at the plant, with a specific focus on Allen-Bradley systems.
Qualification:
Electrical qualification is mandatory (NQF Level 5 or higher). Additional Millwright certification is highly beneficial.
Experience:

Proven experience in PLC programming, with a strong preference for Allen-Bradley systems.
Extensive experience in electrical maintenance within an industrial setting.
Experience with SCADA systems and their integration with PLCs.

Technical Skills:

Strong understanding of electrical systems, including motor control, wiring, and circuit design.
Proficiency in PLC programming languages (e.g., Ladder Logic, Structured Text).
Familiarity with industrial automation and control systems.
