Qualifications / Requirements:
• Minimum of Matric
• Valid drivers license
• 3 to 4 years in fuel station experience
• Minimum of 2 years as a Supervisor experience highly advantageous
• Knowledge of fuel
• Computer literate
• Experience on BB Soft and MS Dynamics highly advantageous
• Team player and problem solver
• Ability to work under pressure and deliver accurate work within a deadline driven environment
• Time management skills
• Ability to work with individuals at all levels of the organisation
• Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multi-task and operationally a hands on person
Key Performance Areas:
• Always ensure order and the smooth running of operations at the forecourt and service areas
• Ensure the entire forecourt staff are smart and presentable
• Ensure proper merchandising of products on the forecourt especially on the lubricant racks
• Apply and ensure that the Forecourt Customer Attendants apply the top service standards in all operations
• In conjunction with the Line Manager assign daily/shift-based duties to CSA's
• Ensure that customers are served efficiently, and their requests attended to politely
• Ensure a clean working environment adhering to the housekeeping and health and safety standards
• Deal with cases of staff disobedience/customer complaints in the first instance (reported to the Manager in the daily briefing)
• Represent the management when deal with credit customers
• Confirm purchase order details before commencing of fuelling
• Verify that invoice/credit card amounts tally with what is on the pump and writing invoices
• Training of new employees in line with our standards
• Assist in appraisals and evaluation of members of staff
• Suggest and recommend improvements to staff related matters
• IP stock control and dispensing on depot
• Manage all aspects of the forecourt
• Manage cash-ups and daily banking, daily tank dipping and wet stock management
• Ordering, receiving, processing of fuel stock
• Manage forecourt staff, incl. arranging of shifts and maintain staff discipline
• Ensure all forecourt equipment is maintained
• Professional handling of all customer queries/complaints
• Relay fuel readings to management
• Cost control and administrative duties
• Advancing service excellence of forecourt staff and forecourt operations
• Training staff for forecourt duties
