REQUIREMENTSValid SANC qualification/certificateCovid-19 Vaccination ESSENTIAL5 years post-qualification experience working in hospitals or aged care facilityExperience overseeing a healthcare teamAbility to communicate effectively at all levelsManage pressure and conflicting demands, and prioritise tasksGood compassion and highly professional relationship building with residentsGenuine interest in working with residents living with Dementia, Alzheimers, and Parkinsons DiseaseDUTIESManage and co-ordinate the day-to-day activities of the nursing and caring teamProvide guidance, advice, information, and effective decision-making to the teamTake responsibility for residents' care, as designated by the Sister in his/her absenceReport any ill health amongst residents and make requests for GP/Professional visits where necessaryAssess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care and seek medical or other interventions as requiredEnsure collection of any specimens that have to be sent to the surgery/hospitalCarry out all nursing procedures efficiently and effectivelyAdminister prescribed medicines and maintain the appropriate records in line with the Companys policies, procedures, and guidelinesPractice maximum integrity in all dealings with residents affairs, and avoid abuse of the privileged relationship with residentsMaintain accurate records and ensure each resident receives individualized careMonitor, update and audit Resident Care Plans on an ongoing basis in line with the Companys policies and proceduresEnsure the qualified nursing and caring team embraces the fundamental principles of good care practiceDevelop and maintain appropriate data collection for audit effectivenessSalary dependent on experience Join us on SOCIAL MEDIA or visit our WEBSITE for more information.
