Payroll Officer - Parow, Cape TownOur manufacturing client is looking for a Payroll Officer to handle large payrolls. You will need solid experience on SAGE 300 Payroll and SARS.Salary: Negotiable based on experienceMin RequirementsCompleted Matric.3-5 years' experience in a similar role in finance handling large payrolls.SAGE 300 experience is an advantage.SARS Emp's and other experience essential.Staff medical aid and pension experience - benefits.ResponsibilitiesBe responsible for a large payroll of 2500 staff - Nationally.Calculate and distribute employee wages, including overtime, bonuses, and deductions.HR recordkeeping of employee hours, salaries, and deductions.Ensure payroll complies with legal and regulatory requirements.Administer employee benefits like health insurance, retirement plans, and leave accruals.Address and resolve payroll discrepancies or issues raised by employees.Work with the HR department to ensure accurate payroll data and records.Perform regular payroll audits to ensure accuracy.Prepare and submit tax filings, including withholdings and social security contributions.Apply online.Frogg Recruitment
