RPO Recruitment is currently working with a well-established FMCG company who is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Payroll Administrator to join their team in Cape Town. As a Payroll Administrator, you will be responsible for processing payroll accurately and efficiently, maintaining employee records, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and policies.Responsibilities:Accurate capturing of all payroll related information.Effective management of payroll related processes.Ensuring the accuracy of earnings and deductions.Ensuring employees are paid correctly and on time.Providing information and answering employee questions about payroll-related matters.Manage payroll related queries.Managing electronic timekeeping systems / manually collecting and reviewing data.Calculating payable hours (overtime, nightshift allowances, etc). Process all leave forms for all production staff, liaising with department heads re any issues.Maintaining employee records.Coordinating with departments to ensure correct employee data.All Input relating to payroll processing.Accurate processing of new and temporary employees, transfers, promotions, terminations, garnishees, overtime, bonuses payable and other payroll related services.Perform monthly payroll processes (updating reports, checking and reconciling etc.).Complete, verify and process benefits forms and documentation (provident fund, leave etc.).Accurate capturing and processing of employee information.Accurate and timeous submission of payroll reconciliations, queries, and reports to the Senior Payroll Administrator.Advise staff on company policy and procedures where appropriate.Assist with preparations for audits.Ensuring that the ERS Biometrics System is in working order and liaising with ERS re any issues.Ensure that all system software and maintenance of the ERS system are in order.Process all pension fund exit forms as well as Death in Service paperwork - liaising with family members.Monitor, ordering, distribution of stationary for all departments.Requirements:Prior experience in payroll in a Manufacturing company (3+ years).SAGE 300 experience.Knowledge of payroll software and systems.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Good understanding of labor laws and regulations.Excellent organizational and time management skills.Effective communication and problem-solving abilities.Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.Proficiency in computer applications, including MS Excel.Benefits:Market-related salary.Contact RPO Recruitment for your next career opportunity.Apply for this role today, contact Keegan Wolhuter at RPO Recruitment or on LinkedIn.You can also visit the RPO Recruitment website: rporecruitment.us or email us your CV: ****** will contact you telephonically in 3 days should you be suitable for this vacancy.
