Job Title: Parts Technical Support SpecialistClosing date: 25 November 2024Location: JohannesburgApply to: ****** Type: Full-timeKEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Assist service technicians and customers by identifying and locating appropriate parts for various vehicle models.Offer technical advice on parts selection, compatibility, and installation procedures to avoid issues during servicing.Stay updated on new parts, supersessions, and obsolescence, ensuring the availability of current information to support teams.Address inquiries from customers and dealers regarding parts availability, specifications, and pricing.Resolve customer complaints related to parts quality or service and escalate complex issues to management when necessary.Ensure all parts are documented accurately in inventory management systems, including serial numbers, prices, and quantities.Maintain records of orders, returns, and warranties in compliance with company and industry standards.Identify areas for improvement in the parts department and propose solutions to enhance efficiency and accuracy.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:Bachelor's Degree in Automation Technology, Mechanical Engineering or related field.3+ years in parts, technical support preferably in the automotive industry.COMPETENCIES:Proficiency in automotive parts and technical knowledge of various vehicle systems (e.g., engine, transmission, electrical).Familiarity with parts management software.Join our team and become part of a dynamic and innovative company at the forefront of the automotive industry.
