Part-Time Violin Teacher Position

We are seeking an innovative, creative, dedicated and energetic individual with the necessary skills and experience to join our dynamic staff team from 1 January 2025 in the following position:
PART-TIME VIOLIN TEACHER POSITIONKey Responsibilities: Teach violin lessons up to a grade five levelPrepare students for external music exams and concertsConduct our Junior and Senior String OrchestrasTeach recorders in small groupsAssist with music concerts and school eventsManage the school's violinsAttend music meetings and do admin as requiredQualifications and Skills: Music degree and junior school teaching experienceStrong administrative and computer skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsPassion for teaching and a genuine interest in student developmentAbility to motivate and inspire students to achieve their musical goalsAbility to teach piano and do piano accompanying (bonus)Capability to teach other instruments (bonus)We are looking for someone who is willing to actively participate in our concerts and events, and who will be a collaborative team player in our vibrant Music Department.
