A well-established company based in Woodmead is seeking a Remote Part-time Translator.
Duties: Translator to assist in the translation of our new English Foreign Language Programme. This programme has been designed for non-native English speakers.
Requirements: Matric (Grade 12)The candidate needs a relevant degree (either in translation, linguistics, or language in general).A background in translating educational material.Must have a substantial portfolio (a number of different projects completed successfully).Fluency in two or more languages.A good understanding and in-depth knowledge of language/country-specific cultures.Excellent writing skills and command of grammar.Subject matter knowledge specific to the content you'll be translating.Attention to detail and accuracy.Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.Strong communication skills.Candidates need to have their own laptop and cellphone (essential), as well as a stable internet connection.
