We are currently seeking a compassionate and experienced Palliative Care Consultant and Specialist to join our dynamic team and contribute to our mission of providing comprehensive healthcare services.
Position Overview: We are looking for a highly skilled Palliative Care Consultant and Specialist to join our multidisciplinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert palliative care services to patients with life-limiting illnesses, focusing on enhancing their quality of life and supporting their families through compassionate and holistic care.
Key Responsibilities: Assessing patients with complex palliative care needs and developing individualised care plans.Providing expert consultation and management of symptoms such as pain, nausea, and dyspnea.Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and social workers, to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.Offering emotional support and counseling to patients and their families, addressing their concerns and helping them cope with end-of-life issues.Educating healthcare staff and community members on palliative care principles and practices.Participating in research and quality improvement initiatives to advance palliative care services.
