Velocity Media is looking for a Paid Media Specialist, whose focus will be on executing and supporting the paid media strategies ensuring the effective and efficient running of paid media campaigns across various platforms. This includes managing campaigns for Velocity Media's city websites (Joburg.co.za, Pretoria.co.za) and external clients, social media, search engines and other digital platforms. In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of campaigns, including setup, monitoring, optimisation, and reporting, to achieve maximum performance and ROI. Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications or a related field. At least 3 to 5 years' proven experience in managing paid media campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc. Extensive proficiency and experience in working with digital marketing tools and platforms. Excellent communication and creative problem-solving skills, with the ability to collaborate with others. Proficiency in data analysis tools and strong analytical skills to interpret data and KPIs. Ability to work under pressure, both independently and in a team, dealing with multiple projects simultaneously. Extensive experience working with HubSpot and/or other CRM and MarTech solutions. Analytical mindset with a focus on data-driven decision-making Creative thinking and problem-solving skills. As a Paid Media Specialist at Velocity, you will be an essential part of the RevOps team and will focus on the following areas: Assisting in the development and execution of paid media strategies across multiple platforms. Managing campaign set up, monitoring and adjustments based on performance data. Continuously optimising campaigns to improve ROI and achieve KPIs. Implementing A/B testing strategies to identify best-performing ads and tactics. Monitoring campaign performance and using data-driven approaches to refine strategies. Assisting with the preparation of regular reports for stakeholders, highlighting key metrics, insights, and recommendations for future campaigns. Work closely with the RevOps team to align strategies, while coordinating with other departments for integrated marketing efforts. Communicating effectively with clients and internal teams. Staying abreast of industry trends and best practices. Manage tasks and projects using ClickUp, while adhering to budget allocations and deadlines.
