The Operations Coordinator role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth execution of operational activities. Responsibilities include coordinating and supporting the development of new technical and non-technical solutions, overseeing their implementation across multiple use-case environments. Working closely with cross-functional teams, including product development, implementation, and partner support, the Operations Coordinator ensures that contracts are delivered punctually, within scope, and with a focus on high quality. A Bachelor's degree in administration or equivalent experience is required, and a project management certification would be advantageous. 1-year contract with an option to renew based on performance and funding.
DUTIES: Providing administrative and logistics support to the Chief Operating Officer.Monitoring and mapping operational processes to highlight bottlenecks and support smooth and efficient delivery.Monitoring and ensuring resource capacity to support delivery and planning of project work.Maintaining open and transparent relationships with key role players within OCL to gather or provide critical information for decision-making and planning.Creating tools and reference documents to support operational effectiveness and accurate record-keeping.Fulfilling this role according to OCL's aspirational culture, leadership brand and work ethos.Growing professionally and developing personal competence to fulfil this role in a rapidly scaling and increasingly impactful organisation.REQUIREMENTS: Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in administration OR equivalent experience.Project management certification is advantageous.Skills and technical expertise: Knowledge of the civic tech environment is advantageous.Knowledge of the NPO environment is advantageous.Knowledge of and experience working with Notion, Slack, Microsoft, Google Suite, Toggl etc. would be an advantage.A basic digital vocabulary and the ability to understand and learn about technical concepts.Experience: Operations coordinator experience in a tech environment.Project management experience is advantageous.Experience documenting processes and reporting internally.Experience implementing systems and processes within an organisation.ATTRIBUTES: Strong organisational and time management skills and the ability to prioritise and manage multiple deliveries concurrently.Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.The ability to deal calmly with emergencies, to develop plans to solve problems and to make good decisions under pressure.Assertiveness in a diverse context.Ability to work remotely.Demonstrable ability to meet deadlines and promote excellent results.
